The new cap developed by Tecnnovation is available in the UK and Ireland from BlueCat. It has a magnetic ring to enable it to work with both normal nozzles and magnetic, ‘elaflex’ type guns. Only the correct AdBlue® refill pistol will fit into the opening of the mis-fuel cap preventing access for diesel, petrol and other pistols or contaminants.
The AdBlue® mis-fuel cap not only eliminates costly contaminations, it’s fully vented to give easy fill with an internal flap to prevent dust and debris contamination.
Preventing the damage caused by contamination could save over €3,000, so fitting the cap is a sensible precaution for hauliers and rental companies. The protection provided by the cap against ingress of dust and debris is a further benefit for vehicles operating in testing environments.
